Barbara's: a Nostalgia of Spanish era

It's been a long time since my last post. I got the chance to buy few vouchers once again. This time for a nostalgic dinner buffet with a cultural show at Barbara's located in Intramuros. I brought with me my aunties who will surely enjoy such dinner. The facade of the old building remind me of an old movie scene where Filipinos dressed in Barong Tagalog and in the regal Baro't Saya   and attends a party during Spanish regime. Each corner of the establishment was well-preserved. From the stone brick floors to the Narra staircase, antique chandeliers and even the interiors of the restaurant. Topped with grated cheese and bacon bits, the savory taste of the salad compliments the sweet bite of the pineapple. Beef tapa and crispy Pork belly sampler The dish comes with two kinds of dipping sauce: liver sauce and vinegar. both meats were crispy and yet suprisingly tender. No marinate used for the pork I guess (aside from the salt), you can taste the meat itself. I wonder
